Even before FMCC opened in 2014, I had the opportunity to work with and be a patient of Dr. Stroud for my first pregnancy. Both of those experiences allowed me to see the passion that drives him. I continued my care with Dr. Stroud for my second and third pregnancies, but this time as FMCC. Though my second kiddo was impatient and decided to be born at home, I was blessed to have Marianne attend the delivery of my daughter at Holy Family Birth Center. Over those years, I witnessed the practice evolve into the incredible group of providers we have today.
When I’m not caring for moms and babies, I’m either at the gym or spending time with my family. We stay busy with kids’ sports, but in our free time, we enjoy the local sports teams and spending time at home playing games. My husband is also an avid hunter, and our kids love spending time with him on the hunting farm.
I make exercise a priority for both my mental and physical health. I’ve been a member of the local CrossFit gym since June 2013, and I even participated in CrossFit through my second and third pregnancies. This led me to seek out evidence-based guidance for fitness during pregnancy and postpartum, which aids me in supporting and encouraging women to stay active even during these times. I have obtained certification as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism Coach, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, and National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer. I hope to be a resource not only for pregnant and postpartum women but also anybody looking to better themselves through exercise.
I love caring for women, and I’m blessed to have the most amazing group of providers as my partners in care!
